I don't know about a boot. Probably not due to the increased cost and the narrow gate area for the shifter to work in.

If the logo is on there, count me out.

I don't mind the logo at all. Better than 'sponsor' stickers all over the fenders or windows.......

most likely a t-handle with a line lock. We will probably offer a ball as an option as well

LL button on the T-handle is high on my wish list for this B&M.Crossin ma fingeeez

None other than the owners are questioning if this would be a good seller or not?..It is going to be expensive for us to make tooling to create this product and the higher ups than me are a bit concerned we won't be able to sell many...So, I am sorta fighting that battle now.

Go for it Cleveland! There is enough TMS members who want a new shifter for their auto, you are sure to make a profit.

How about jobbering it to the custom shops (Roush etc.) as an option for their packages? As popular as the new Mustangs have proven, I'm sure that the market is there. And don't forget the secondary market - on this board alone, I've seen several members buy an '05, then trade up for an '06 for some reason. I'd bet real money that there are a bunch of slightly-used '05 autos on the secondary market from people that fell in love, bought them and then couldn't keep them. Someone's gonna buy them!!

Show this thread to the guys that make the decision - TMS is just a fraction of the owners in your market, and we auto owners are a minority on TMS, but look how rabid we are about this shifter!

Last but not least, if you don't build it, we'll get Hurst to do it!

I have given the list to the ultimate decision makers. Tooling costs are what becomes so expensive unless we can sell alot of them. I believe I will get it to market so just hang on!..I will also let the engineering guys know the logo should be omitted if possible...Stay tuned....

Oh, Sorry guys.. i got side tracked on the deep pan deal engineering was questioning me about.. I won the victory with the owners and it will move forward into production!..Collectively as a group here several key people backed my play and it was agreed this is the way to go.Parts have all been sent out for prototypes and we are just waiting to get them back to test fit into a car...Stay tuned
