Question, is there something significantly different about the GT500 rearend as opposed to the one you took out?
I mean I know the GT500 has different gears and there is the diff cover, but other than that what is the benefit of a complete rearend as opposed to just replacing gears and the diff cover?

I did it for a specific reason.
I already had 3 sets of Ford Racing gears installed and all of them made a loud whine on Deceleration.
So I got PISSED and ordered the 2012 complete rear end assembly from AM.

It was just one of those things that after the 3rd time that was enough.
Spending money for inner pinion bearings, lube, posi additive, and gears.
I just said STOP.
Brenspeed did none of the gear changes !!!
(That was done Locally)
Called Brent (Brenspeed owner) and drop shipped the complete GT-500 assembly to them.
That ended that "Fiasco" !!!
One has to know when to Stop and get a new game plan in place.
That is what I did.
Gained really nothing in a way.
But do have a brand new Ford complete rear end assembly now.
Mine had plus 36.000 miles on it at that point.
So all was not bad really as now it is all new once again.
