Gt500 60mm twin throttle body on an 05 gt?????

Ok so I want to change out my throttle body and I ran across a used Gt500 60mm twin throttle body used for only 15,000 miles for sale for $100. Apparently it comes with a BBK adaptor plate to transfer to my gt. so what I wanna know is, is it worth it? Is there anything I must look at before buying? Is there much of a power difference? Or should I put more money toward an aftermarket throttle body? FYI, I am running magnaflow exhaust, x-pipe no cats, kooks long tube headers, C&L 95 mm intake.... Has anybody ran one of these on there gt? Any advise would be appreciated.....

Had it and didn't like it... I couldn't fit my frpp cai on to the mouth even with the adapter ... you need a big mouth cai like a jlt but even then if you but the frpp manifold in the future it will push everything forward because of the plate...

I eventually had to rig the frpp cai and place a breather on the pcv tube buy the valve cover ... so I bought the frpp 65mm tb and the jlt carbon fiber 110mm cai and it worked much better... as far as performance goes I couldn't tell differences because I did everything all at once... in my opinion i would save money and drop it into a low boost supercharger ... only because I hears anything over 450rwhp will require forged internals ...

No problem man... you can put it someplace else for your car... one thing I learned is not to cut corners and for a ton of research and to be patient because you will eventually find something you want on sale or whatever ...

Good idea to pass on it... until you have a boosted ride, the stock TB is more than enough.
