Nice. There's a lot of mopar dudes I know going to the tx mile. Last year a challenger broke 200. This year there's at least one I know for sure should go well above 200

There's lots of saftey requirements at the mile when you start turning in significant numbers. Never been but I know quite a few folks who run the mile. With your setup make sure you read the fine print.

I find it amazing how cordial mustang folks are towards mopar guys. Having been a long time mopar forum guy I can say that the feeling isn't reciprocated. Nice to be part of a forum that is pure performance oriented.

Yeah, I'm not going till i know I'm ready, a trailer, rollbar, etc. A buddy of mine has a super charged Saleen like mine and went 154 mph with about the same hp I should be at. I want to go check it out first before competing. Are you going?

No, not this year. May go as a spectator next year but I'm more into acceleration than top speed. Still sounds like a lot of fun with a lot of good people.

Oh there's plenty of "fan boys" in every forum, I'm a performance kind of guy. Id love to have a Viper/Z06/NSX/Supra/Nova/Ferrari etc. I just can't stand the whole "I'll never drive a (blank)" I personally love turbos, that's just me, but I can appreciate it all.

I went the first three years and have the shirts to prove it, lol. I can't wait to go next year, those UGR Lambos are crazy. My phone won't let me post pics, have to get them from the laptop.

I know right lol. The charger was fun but in retrospect it had too many doors, no clutch, and I dented the fender and I didn't like the way they "matched" the paint so I traded it in lol.

After reading several big threads on what to do about the pcv system on a turbo application, I think I've made my decision. My kit has you run a hose from the passenger side vc to the suction side of the turbo, the drivers side just gets s check valve from the vc to the manifold, which keeps air from going into the drivers vc. I've decided, with the help of many forum members, etc. to run both vc to a single catch can with a breather. Going to use a Jaz mini catch can with a breather. The only downside to this that I've read about is a slight blowby smell inside the cabin, I'm going to mount the breather somewhere where it might help that problem.

I just redid my breather PCV setup and so far I'm very happy with the results. I use to run both covers to breather cans and just got tired of the oil smells, plus my engine is set up very loose, so I have a lot of blowby and needed more breather capacity at wot.

I had bungs welded into a set of cam covers and I am running #10 lines from each cover to a breather catch can on each side. I have also installed a Krankvent pcv fitting in the driver side line, which allows air out but not in. I am running a line from the stock vent to an oil catch can, with another Krankvent, then to the intake manifold.

This setup gives me plenty of breather capacity at wot and still uses the engine vacuum, to pull the fumes into the intake, at normal engine speeds. I don't have anymore oil smell during normal driving and I am very happy with the setup.

Just something for you to consider down the road, if you have the oil smell problem.

Wow, sounds like a solid setup, I can see why you asked how I was going to run my pcv system (Moduarfords, I'm 35Saleen S281). Do you have any pics of your setup? I'm going to try it with both vc going to the catch can for now and see what happens. Thanks, I appreciate the help.

I thought your build sounded familiar. That setup will work fine and if you don't have much blow by you shouldn't have much of an oil smell. I haven't taken any pics of the new setup but plan on getting everything cleaned up and some picks taken this weekend.

Well I finally took some pics of the new lines but they don't show up that well.
Here you can see the modified JLT catch can going to the intake and the breather line that is going to the front breather.

What lines did you use to modify the JLT oil separator?

With my fuel rails and such the lines that came with the JLT wouldn't work. I used a 90 fitting at the can and ran a #8 line to the Krankvent. I connected the Krankvent to the stock intake connection section. I used the line from JLT to run from the can to the stock fitting on the cover. This setup has been working great and I don't have any oil smell anymore.
