dude I love my 4.10's! It does get a little fish tailly when you get on it but if you know how to drive you should be able to feather the gas and be fine. I am glad I went with the 4.10's and to be honest I am getting better gas mileage now than I was before. Avg. about 20-25 hwy and 25-30 mpg interstate. Don't get me wrong I would break the car loose and go sideways if I really tried to launch hard and all but I don't do that. I take it easy in 1st-3rd and then pull hard in 4th and 5th. 5th gear feels like 4th it pulls very hard and I love being on the interstate with it.

Are you comfortable at those power levels? My HO Whippled 05 GT dynoed at 441rwhp and 425tq, but I requested a "conservative" tune. Adam at ST said he could have easily gotten more out of it. Do you think I was being too conservative? My 08 GT/CS is getting Whippled this week!

I plan to install forged guts in about a year, but in the meantime I want to have a certain safety zone.

louie do you have pics? I'm curious about the whipple and the CAI. Brent said they couldn't use my C&L with the Saleen SC, I wonder if its a problem on the Whipple since your using your JLT I presume? What injectors are you using, and what did you do for fuel management?

I will have pics soon. Your CAI will not work with the Whipple either. I am using the one that came in the kit. I am running the injectors that came in the kit (38 or 39lb i can't remember). I used the GT500 duel pump that came with the kit.

No I do not think you are being to conservative. Those are some great numbers. I think it is the new blowers. They come with the more efficent rotor design, and make more power with lower lbs of boost than the old blowers did. that is just my guess though. Your new set up should be similar to mine. Good luck!

I would recommend this blower to anyone wanting a blower that has awesome street manners but really sets you back when you get into the gas. I am one lucky/happy dude
Congrats Very cool I hope one day I can get the cash together for a power mod.

You can put down some good numbers with the Auto also OKLACOP.
I requested to stop at the level I have for safety reasons.

mustanglouie keep your eyes on your guages if you have them, you are on the edge with stock internals in my opinion. It helps that you don't get on it hard from take off.
I know it's fun!

Cool Louie! I had 4.10's with my Procharger, switched back to 3.55's after the Whipple install. I was doing 75 mph on flat road and did an aggressive downshift to 4th and had to let off cause the tires broke loose madly. That's just too much for a street car so the 4.10's had to go. I'll probably put 3.73's in this summer.

Yah, that was really my point. I wanted to keep my power levels ~450rwhp, which is kind of the agreed upon safe limit on these motors. But to those who are willing to push the envelope a bit, more power to them. When I forge my motor in about a year, then I'll pull out all the stops. The stress on the motor has more to do with the horsepower levels than the boost. Also, I would definitely get a shift light 'cause too many rpm's are not good.

Forget the shift light, just make sure the tune has a lower redline stopping point. Program it to like 6,000 or something.

Well I shift at about 5600-5800 on hard shifts. I am not a ***** to the wall all the time kinda guy. I don't really take off hard and only have got on it really hard in 4th and 5th. I think it is all in the tune and the driver not pushing to hard on the car. I am only pushing about 10lbs of boost as well.

Congrats on the numbers I hope to get something similar when I go FI.

Since the topic has moved slightly to traction, I apologize for hi-jacking this thread, I see you're running 8.5 front and 10s in back. What size tire are you putting on the 18x10s ? I'm debating on staying 275/40 on all 4 or going bigger out back, but keeping the same profile, or close to it, of the stock 235/50 tire.

I have the stock 3.55s. Would a 275/40 tire be sufficient out back or should I just go bigger. I want to have the same size all-around so I can rotate, but if it just isn't a big enough tire I'd rather go staggered and not have an extra set of wheels I can't use. Does that make sense?

Yeah it does. I would go bigger in the back if it were me. I think these cars have really big fender wells and they need to be fitted with big rubber(my opinion). I wish I would of have went bigger than the 285's I have now. I am going to change soon though.

OK, Thank you for the feedback. I've been hanging onto the hope that I can have 275s all the way around and before I started shopping for tires I just wanted some confirmation from someone who has a set-up close to what I will probably end up getting. I really appreciate your help. Staggered it will be for me then.
