Got the Whipple dynoed!

It made 470rwhp and 443ft/tq. I am very happy with the way the car runs now. What really makes this mod special is that I installed every bit of it by myself. Even the dyno tuner said that it looked like a professional install. I would recommend this blower to anyone wanting a blower that has awesome street manners but really sets you back when you get into the gas. I am one lucky/happy dude

Awesome numbers. You are one lucky dude, I bet you just grin driving it knowing you did it yourself.

Where did you get your whipple?

How long was the total install for you?

I got it from Jared at Leathalperformance. I did after work everynight for about 4 nights. I usually worked on it from 5pm to about 11pm everynight. I took my time and worked though all the problems that I faced. All in all a pretty easy install.

Oh yeah the funny thing was the tuner said he could of easially got my car to 500rwhp if it wasn't for the injectors. Which I didn't want that much but kinda cool because he said he could get me there with the stock pulley setup and everything, just need bigger injectors to do it.

How is the Whipple with the 4:10's? I have been contemplating on getting 3:73's in a couple weeks.

If he has 4:10's, a whipple @ 470rhwp, and street tires my guess would be that his traction is similar to an n/a car on wet pavement

I can tell you that 4.10s with stock Pirellis (using them for winter tires) along with a Saleen blower with similar torque will break the rear loose in 3rd gear approaching 80mph. I'm betting the Whipple will do the same.

Would some suspension work make this setup manageable?
