Got my 4.10's yesterday
The 4.10s are great for me on the street and on the highway it cruises at 2-3k in 5th which is fine for me with the limited time I spend on the highway. I love additional usable torque to the wheels.
Unfortunately I didn't do a trac loc rebuild and I'm almost at 70k so my spider gears got ground up after a few runs at the dragway. Replacing the LSD with something stronger but fortunately there's no damage to the ring and pinion gears.

We've got two discussions going on here but I'm going to add another: I'm replacing my diff with a Detroit Locker. I've done a lot of research about the diffs so I'm well aware of the handling characteristics it should have. I'll start a thread with opinions on it - looking for something fun on the street that won't disintegrate at the drag strip. I'm not a finesse driver on the street, more of a kick the tail out when no one's looking type

just tired of people jumping to the conclusion that ASE certified means they are also qualified...

I've been driving them on the street for the week and only had them on the highway once following a group so I didn't payvery close attention. Here's a clip of 60-70 run and it says 2800 at 70 MPH
