This might bring back memories for some of yall but was wondering if anyone had installed glasspacks on there mustang. I remember how I had installed glass packs on my 66 when I was younger and absolutely loved the sound. Wondered if anyone here had done that and also if glass packs are still around. I think the sound would be awesome. Also would there be any computer problems if someone installed them.

I also had a '66 Mustang years ago, and it had Thrush mufflers on it.

A few years ago I got some Hush Thrush'es for my '70 Cutlass, 350 Rocket, they sounded GREAT !

IMHO - Hush Thrush would be the way to go.

PS - Sorry for the pic, but couldn't find any Fords.

The Borla/FRPP mufflers are glasspacks, and I would suggest using them before going to a louvered style muffler. I suspect it would not sound that great/make any power. Then again, everyones ears are different.

Hard to find. I found a couple 4 years ago on eBay. New but rusting from sitting in somebodys garage for years.

Check ebay, the have a few of the tube glasspacks and some Cherry Bombs.
