Red face

While getting my car from the dealership, the rep told me that nowadays, many people are adding something illegal to the car (or modifying something) that causes very noticable, loud burbles to come from the exhaust. True, modifying the X-pipes and getting straight pipes obviously increases it, but I have heard cars miles away, and the burbles from the exhaust sound like they are aboout 10 feet away. It can be heard for MILES!

I love burbles, and want to have TONS more. What increases them? What are "Glasspacks?" Can we get those on the 05 GTs? Any other info as to how to make crazy burbles that can be heard miles away?

LOL azoufan, thanks for your "input."
What exhaust do you think by far has the most?
Really guys, how can you "add" tons of burbles to your exhaust system like my dealer rep was saying? She said it was illegal I BELIEVE, but I want to know...

I hope you guys know what Im talking about. When you let off the throttle, these nice, throaty burbles come out the exhaust pipes, NOT backfire that like deafens you, but nice throaty burbles (or gurgles ). Im a newb to exhausts mainly, but i just want to know if you all know anything about this.

I get some burbles with my Bassani, but nothing too loud. I know what you are talking about, and I wish mine was a little louder.

I also have the Bassani's and when I rev it up pretty good there are plenty of 'burbles'. I also love the sound, and if you are at idle and in neutral or park and rev it, there are tons of them. I think the proper term is 'backpressure' but I could be wrong. Either way, I think it sounds kick hiney.

I don't have Loudmouths, but I LOVE the way they sound... I just don't think I would like them sounding like that all the time... too many roadtrips in the future. I got the SLP Powerflos and they go on tommorrow.

Now would this be MORE or LESS if I add, say, a stock cat Pro Chamber? Or any other legal x-pipe with stock cats for that matter?

When I put on the pro chamber I got alot more burbles when I let off the gas. They're just not loud.
Did you get the vids I sent?

Yes they were a little more louder with the stock H-pipe. The prochamber deepened and calmed down the exhaust a little.
