Has anybody tried to make their hoodscoop funtional?
I was thinking on maybe a 429 boss style scoop, and running flat plastic tubing attached to the underside of the hood over to the cai, Still I gotta get past the cutting part

 

Ian who used to frequent the boards had a Roush scoop that he made functional. He replaced the hood with a RK Sport after the front was wrecked. I'm not sure how he made it work.

 

What is his user name? I searched the members list and only came up with 1 Ian with some numbers but no posts on the scoop.

just did this this past weekend to my friends v 6 , he had bought a aftermarket scoop not sure of the brand . Anyway we used a drimmel to open up the honey cambs in the front of the scoop , then I measured and open the hole in the center of the hood , I left a 7/16 inch lip so week could put trim around it . Turned out really nice
