Tried on some hoods today! **56KWarning**

I thought Id share the pics I took with them on the car; total of 5 hoods. Unfortunately the lighting in the back is kind of bad but you get the idea. I am not going with any of these, have something else in the works; I was just helping a friend out.

CALIFORNIA DREAMING:

DONT KNOW WHAT THIS ONES CALLED:

MACH II:

SALEEN:

SHELBY GT500:

Cali, then Saleen or GT500 - throw the rest away.

Of all of them I like the California Dreamin best. However I think the stock hood with the CDC shaker looks the best but I am kinda bias.

I love that Mach 1 Scott . Any more pics. What do you have under the hood... 302, 351, or 428? Cobra jet? I love the '69 429 CJ. The '70 seems more sleeker though with the just the two headlights and the vents on the side.

Previously, I would have said the Cali Hood.
But that Saleen looks really nice...
Dang... another decision for when I have money.

By the way rrobello, what kind of connections do you have that allow you to "try on hoods"?

I like the Saleen with it's simple lines and the side exhaust vents. If I was adding a aftermarket hood my first priority would be to extract air from the engine bay. JMO~

California Dreaming.....

I think a lot of people have this hood. It is nice, but in the end just about anything is better than the plain hood that Ford gave us.

saleen, the others are all too raised up and bulky. the gt500 doesnt look good because it has the arched front, whick doesnt complement the square bumper

its how we roll in socal, its like going to rodeo and trying on outfits, I like my ****e couture biatches....lol, IM just messing sorry

uhm I was helping a friend out who owns a company that makes body kits and hoods, ect. These were the first run and he needed to test fit them since his car is the carbon fiber wide body car that Hot Wheels used and nothing fits normal on it anymore. All of these are high quality fiberglass and (body kits will come in fiberglass, urethane and some in carbon fiber) and fit perfectly with the exception of the front edge of the GT500 hood because it doesnt line up with the GT bumper, so he will be doing two; one to fit more like the GT hood but look like the GT500 (which I think will look better because it gets rid of that smile and makes it look more aggressive) and the second a normal GT500 hood because he plans on also doing a GTR kit, as well as the kit that is going to be soon going on my car.

FYI I will soon be selling these and other kits for other stangs and other cars, in case anyone is interested. When final details are worked out I will post up.
