HELP,,,I have a few gas leaks on my new Shelby Fuel Rail setup
,the first is on the treads where the new fuel rail screws into the new spring lock housing,
,if you look at this install IS[1].7R3Z-9F792 05-10 Fuel Rail Installation Online.pdfyou will see what problems came up, with the leaks that is ,my question is can or is the anything
I can put on the threads to stop them from leaking that will hold up to the GAS pressure behind it ,thanks for any help and or replies,Richard ,you can email me a RMSwitzer@cableone.net .

if you have seepage on the part that is threaded about all u can do is apply thread sealant and tighten it back down and see if it holds...if its is where the factory line connects then you may have a broken o ring there at that QD...that happened to me when i removed my line to install aftermarket rails...the dealer wont sell a o ring by the way!!! they try to sell the whole hose assy !!! good luck.

I just installed Fore Precision Fuel Rails and their GT Install Kit for stock fuel lines a couple of weeks ago. I used Loctite 567 Thread Sealer on the 1/8 NPT plug and on my 1/8 NPT Auto Meter fuel pressure sender. Leak free install. Just be very careful as you absolutely do not want to get anything in the fuel system that will clog an injector.
