I was on the highway yesterday morning for an hour drive and was getting 17mpg.

Sound and MPG are not a reason to do this. Although it sounds really good. The real reason is the HP/TQ gains. Would love to see them after the pulls on the dyno. At the rate I am going I may never see a Supercharger so this may be my next mod for the ever elusive power I desire.

But there will be a gain in HP, I am guessing around 20-25 we'll see soon enough.

I would agree with this statment. When I did my cams back in Feb. Brenspeed told me that the stock cams produced as much torque that was possible with a stockish N/A motor. Ford did a great job.

Hey bud, did you reset the MPG readout, when you hit the highway? This way, you can track your highway mileage only. Pwny, I hope that is why its so low. If so, I can't do it, as I drive my car way too much to shows that are long distances, to pull this off. I'd need a Sunoco trailer being me.

Not yet I couldn't get in last Friday he was busy. It is hard for me to get on the Dyno because the closest one is an hour away and my schedule is always changing. So sense I can't schedule time on the dyno I usually just call when I know I will be free and see if he can work me in. I will let you know. Have you not done a before and after dyno?

On a side note, any chance you can do a short video clip of the car idling and then you tapping the gas a few times? I am DYING to hear how it sounds when you rev it some!

Glad to help bud. Yup, the system won't recalculate the MPG from driving city and then when you go on the highway. That is why you reset it, when you hit the speedway. Whenever I go on the highway, I hit the reset button as soon as I am on the onramp. When you get off the highway onto stop and go, the mpg lowers more and you see your combined. It just won't go the other way, from city to highway.
