Factory scoop or Shelby scoop for '06 GT
#21
yeah i posted that up in post #3, I talked to a rep at Shelby Automobiles and they said they are not selling the hood scoop or the door sills since they do not want people to copy the car exactly, just like you can buy the super snake wheels but not the small cap that says Super Snake on it and a couple of other things that comes on the other Shelbys. If you want the parts you are going to have to provide a VIN number and the dealer has to provide pictures of the crashed car and only the dealer can order the parts.

my scoop i bought from 05stangKC, he sells ford parts for good prices and gives us a discount, but you have to e-mail him for prices, he does not like us posting his prices on the forums, this is his forum http://forums.bradbarnett.net/forumdisplay.php?f=86

I wish I did not have the stock scoop on mine....I hate it. It traps water under it that runs out when I move the car all over my fresh wash and wax job.....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Make it go away. I am planning on the Shaker hood scoop upgrade to mine.....
I saw a picture of a hood that had an older Bullitt hoodscoop mounted. It was not the greatest picture but it looked decent. Anyway Just my .02

If you open your hood after washing to let the water run out while you are drying the rest of the car, the drips are "poof". I leave the hood on my car up for 10 minutes and then dry. It gets about 98% of the water that way.

or you could try driving the car then park it and use an air compressor and to plow out the last of the water, that is what i do for the water under my spoiler and what i will do for the hood scoop
