Exhaust sound clips

I went to the sticky for this stuff, but for some reason none of the links worked. Do any of you have sound/video clips of the exhaust mods you have done?

Thanks.

Stupid question... but what exactly is a prochamber? On the videos I have heard I love the way they sound... Whats kinda of difference is it to an o/r H or an X pipe?

With the prochamber the two sides of the exhaust are connected with a boxy chamber instead of piping. The result is a great sound! It is more expensive but well worth it.

Brenspeed.com has a lot of variations in their media section.

Here is my offroad MacProchamber with GTA mufflers on Brenspeeds dyno in May. I tried a bunch of different combos. This is my favorite.

Ya ya ya! Since you posted your first sound clip of your setup, I knew I was going to have to buy the Mac O/R Pro chamber. Your costing me more money!..... It does sound darn good ! and with the GTA's you can still sneak back in the Nursing home after lock down!!......

I'd like to hear more of the GTAs/Prochamber at idle.

Is it still easily bearable on a daily driver? It sounds like it would be pretty smooth.

What is involved with the install of the prochamber?
Loses the cats?
O2 sensors?
Does it need a tune?
Require cutting or just bolt up?

Hey Randy,
The Mac Prochamber with the GTA's is the best for a daily driver. I used to run Borla's and the drone killed me. My present setup is loud when I want it to be loud. At cruising speeds it has "NO DRONE" at all. But depress your right foot a tad and she will get quite aggressive. I am running the offroad version which requires you to remove your stock H-pipe and cats and the Prochamber is a direct replacement. Your O2 sensors are attached to the offroad legs of the Prochamber. You will need your tune changed to make sure the rear O2 sensors are "OFF". Or you can get the direct fit Prochamber which involves cutting your stock "H" pipe but you retain the stock cats. I ran my car this way for a while and it was not aggressive enough for me so I went with the offroad version and it is just right. I will try to post a sound clip of my car at idle soon. It does have a nice burble to it.

Cool. Thanks. I think I'll go with the GTAs and later if I add a tune, I'll put in the prochamber.

Your car sounds badass!

I'm going with ARH LT's and O/R H with new cams and heads over winter... I can't wait.

Thanks!

Let us know what kind of power you make with the cams. Which cams are you going with? I also noticed you are going with a KB. You are going to get a grind that will work with the S/C, right?

The blower will have to wait till the next year unless I hit the lottery or we have another huge manhunt and I end up working another 650 hours of OT in 1 year. I will definately go with the grind that is geared towards a blower and suffer though it for the year that I am still NA with a blower grind.
