Eibach Pro springs w/ Ford Mounts - too noisy

I'm currently running an Eibach Pro kit with the "upgraded" Ford factory mounts on my 08 GT/CS.
I am not happy with this setup. It makes a lot of noise.

I am considering going to a Steeda setup - mounts and springs. Or should I just go with Steeda mounts and keep the Eibachs?

Looking for input. Thanks!

I bet if you grab a set of the Steeda upper strut mounts it will take care of that.

Im not a pro on suspensions....but I think everyone agrees not to reuse your stock
upper mounts w/new springs.

Until recently I had been riding the stock shocks and struts w/the pro springs so I know what you're going through. You definitely need to switch up that setting, Bill @ CJPony Parts recommended FRPP shocks and struts which is what I had them do. It's night and day from what I was running. Definitely made the 1250 mile trip from NJ to Fl a much nicer, quieter and less pounding ride. Good luck!

I have the steeda ones, i wouldn't spend any money on the ford, stock or "upgraded"

Steeda gives you zero noise and you adjustability, which ford clearly doesn't.

FRPP Springs aka Eibach Pro Springs with Koni Sports, no noise from the fronts, some bumpstop noise from the rears.

FRPP springs w/original shocks and mounts, some additional road noise; no big deal.

He's talking about the mounts, not the springs/shocks combo

Yah, I get a lot of clunking and stuff. Not acceptable to me. I think I am going to give the Steeda mounts a try.

if it's clunking check the end-links first. You have to put the front on jackstands and then raise and lower the a-arm with a jack to make sure the end-link is not loose, there is a spot that's *just-the-right-spot* that if they're loose the arm will raise/drop and the link won't. It drove me nuts on mine, was going to replace the mounts and it ended up being the end-link. Sometimes it's a ***** getting it just right but basically you have to make sure there is no pressure or slack on the link otherwise it will feel tight.

Check it first, save some $$$$.
