Dynoed with the Procharger this weekend.

The rods and pistons are actually of a pretty good design. I think they will support 550 - 600hp pretty easily. The problem is in where the to ring is located. It's only .100 down. If you detonate it, or run it lean you take the chance of the ring gap closing up and snapping the top of the piston off. The top ring however is stainless steel and there are stainless steel inserts in the ring lands. A little different from anything I've seen. You never know, this setup may be the thing we have been looking for. I will be turning it up until the motor pops here in a few weeks. We'll know exactly how much they will take!!!!!

I am more concerned about the rods than the pistons I have no experience with these connecting rods.

Well, I've tuned many many cars with blowers and cast pistons that make this much and more hp. They will live for a long time if you keep them from detonating. I think 440 is a reasonable number for keeping the car together. I could easly make 550 with the car with nothing other than a pulley change and I will find out if it can take it. But for now, 440 is the safe number.

I was wondering the same thing, any updates on this. It's been 2 weeks since the original post and nothing. Would like to know the price and at what HP gains can be expected....I intend to put a S/C on this year and I'm still not sure which brand. Come on back and let us know....

Any updates, after the honeymoon, would be great. Especially if you are given the go ahead to release numbers ... tq, hp and price.

There is no way the stock engine can hold up w/ that amt of power for long. Just my opinion. I sure would NOT want to be the guy who tries. But nice #'s!!!

We have a good bit of mods on our 05 and we will be receiving our Procharger kit very soon, so we will see what one does with pulleys, cmp's, sct, headers, and full exhaust. Michael, what size injectors are you guys running?

So where do you think my car will be with the mods I have? Just like you I have an article written on my car so I cant reveal my numbers, but you can imagine close to where I am at. I also have a 3" exhaust so I think that will work nice with the blower. Do you think the 39# injectors will be enough for my car?
