It's a good idea to disconnect the negative battery cable when changing intakes and messing with the mas.

I had a problem when I removed mine without having the K&N intake, so I just reset my computer. I unplugged the batter for 20 min to let it reset and plugged it back in and let the computer re-adjust to the h/c trap not being there, result...., it worked!
