Dyno Results

Took my car up to Alternative Automotive today. Anyone who is in Southeast Michigan, I would highly recommend going to see Lidio for your tuning, he is a class act and knows his stuff.

Mods are:

-C&L intake
-JBA Long tube headers
-Bassani off road x-pipe

1st run - 302 hp / 326 torque
2nd run - 300 hp / 324 torque
3rd run - 301 hp / 326 torque

Air fuel ratio was right around 12.6 the whole time.

I never had a baseline dyno when I had the C&L put on two years ago. Overall I'm pretty happy with the results.

Next in line is a 1 piece drive shaft from Shaftmasters and hopefully sooner than later an intercooled Whipple.

Try 6300-6400 shifts. With your redline set at 7000 you should be able to trap in third gear so it will save you from that 3-4 shift. Nice numbers btw!

Yes, you don't need to wind any higher than that and probably can trap 3rd at under 6500rpm.

Great numbers! Those are roughly the mods I have as I have yet to dyno my car. Hopefully I can get that done soon

Thanks all . I agree with the shift at 6400/6500. JPC Racing said to run with ease to 6500. should know what happens in a week. Hoping for high 12's.
When I shifted at 6000, hit the trap at 5200 in 4th.

I think those are very good for your mods. Have you ever done a baseline dyno just to see how much tq/hp your mods are giving you?

That's awesome power. I wonder how much you gained from the longtubes? I'm looking at getting an intake, tune and x-pipe and I already have a bassani axle-back. My goal is just 300rwhp to the ground, hope I can do it without getting LT's!

I've heard good things about Alternative but they are extremely expensive. He's an SCT tuner but refuses to sell SCT hardware to SCT Pro Racer Package users. It's not too hard to sell a blank X-Cal 2 or X-cal 3 to a customer since they're really just USB flash drives, and in the case of a PRP user, a blank USB flash drive.

Actually Alternative Auto was the best deal in Southest East Michigan. Livernois wanted $599 for just a custom tune and dyno time. Paul's High Performance wanted about $500.

Lidio charged me $375 out the door for a custom tune, 3 dyno pulls, and even welded in a new O2 bung to get the best possible A/F reading.

He does all the tuning himself, evern took me out for a test drive because he wants to see how every car "feels" once he's done to make sure it's perfect.
