Dyno Difference?
Please explain the difference between a Mustang and a Dynojet dynomommeter and is one's readings better than the others? If I had a choice which should I request?

im not sure but i think with the mustang dyno its more accurate, and i believe you will always get a lower reading with a mustang dyno then with a dynojet dynomommeter. i would go with the mustang dyno

Readings will vary based on atmospheric conditions, calibration accuracy and the general installation and condition of the equipment. If you are planning successive mod's, stick with one dyno shop or the other so that any resulting changes from additional modifications are relative to results initially taken at the one shop.
Both designs are eddy current type.

Mustang dynos generally read about 10% lower than dynojets, give or take a couple %. This has to do with the fact that they "load" the spool with similar forces to what the car would have to overcome if it were actually driving on the road, whereas the dynojet reads based off of the rotational mass of the roller and how fast it revs up.
