One of those CAIs wouldn't happen to be an MRT would it? My MRT CAI will be here tomorrow and I will need a tune.

Yup, I dynotested the MRT intake a few months ago. Truly it was ok to begin with but it did benefit more from a tune rather then just installing it by itself. I think the A/f was kinda lean around 13.2-13.4 at WOT where I tuned it to bring it back down to a nice powermaking ratio.

Thanks, Doug.

Good news! Let me know how it turns out on Monday. I'm sure you'll have an even better Auto "Magic" tune for the MRT after Monday.

+1 for me too for Doug being "Da Man."

I finally settled on the Bamachips 93 octane torque tune vs. the performance tune and did I ever feel it today accelerating up the approach ramp on the bridge over the Mississippi. The car just kept pulling harder and harder no problems on the 15 - 20 degree uphill slope.

I remember doing this back when I had the stock tune / CAI / 87 octane and being kind of disappointed as I heard a slight knocking from the engine on an uphill slope. Not anymore with Doug's tune! By the time I shifted to third and looked I was doing like 85 mph uphill and still pulling hard. People in the right lane that were doing like 70 mph and had moved over to the left lane so they could "pass me up" didn't even catch up to me. Don't ya'll love when that happens. I had to slow down because I realized I was going too fast.

Doug should patent this torque tune of his.

I picked up a .503 at the track tonight with the JLT2 and Doug's 91 performance tune and .487 with the 91 torque tune. I am a believer!!

I ran against a modded SRT-4 when my car was stock and he beat me by about 4 car lengths to 110 mph. He pulled from me like crazy from 50-110. After installing Doug's tunes and the JLTII, I raced him again and from a stop I pulled him all the way to 110 and ended up winning by about 2 car lengths.
Same day I beat a cammed LT1 camaro with headers, cai, tune, etc.
Go Doug!
