This doesn't make any sense
Ive finished the GT500 conversion to my GT which includes the stock GT500 heat extractor hood. Anyway, I take the car out for a spin and it feels like it's down on power a little, not as snappy. I also notice that while at a steady speed, say 55 mph the car is "pulsing" every 10 to 20 seconds. Maybe a better description is it feels as if the breaks are being lightly applied, nothing dramatic but definitely noticable. I don't see any fluctuations in the tach when this occurs either. Nothing is changed, I'm still using the same CAI and 91 octane tune that I've been using for the past several months.
Could the added flow of air from the new hood have anything to do with this? I know that sounds stupid but I'm at a loss here.
Thanks.

If the hood is functional you may be picking up additional air over the factory hood, which may throw off your tune just a tad? That's just a WAG of course.

This is simple. The car is just a little embarrassed and nervous because it's trying to perform as good as it looks with the GT500 front fascia. Mine had the same problem after the GT500 conversion. I threw a Whipple under the hood and it cured the symptoms
In all seriousness though I don't think airflow has anything to do with it. More than likely something got bumped, tweaked, or something along those lines to make the car act funny. Check you antilock break unit. makes sure none of those black fittings are loose.

LOL, got quite a few chuckles out of me on that one C'mon you guys already have me spending money like it's going out of style as it is...hmm but maybe a whipple for next year
At any rate,to answer your questions, no codes thrown.....yet, and nothing loose that I can find. As for the gas, I have a 1/2 tank now and it was filled last week at the same station I always use w/93 octane. I had driven a car a few years ago that had water in the gas, but this is no where near as bad as that.
I haven't checked the anti locks yet, but I'll have to check that out.
Thanks guys.
