Dip stick tube interference with long tubes.

Just wrapping up my long tube install and obviously the dip stick tube is in the way of one of the tubes. It needs to be bent, but I'm scared the tube will kink afterwards. Any suggestions?

Bend it slowly and carefully, you'll be fine.

WHat would you recomend bending it with? It's harder than I want to use my hands with in scare that I might over bend it. Kinking and messing it up.

I don't know what headers you got, but in the 'pulled trigger on LT's' thread, it was mentioned to get a longer bolt and a spacer to make it fit, that is on the OBX, but bending would work too. I personally never had a problem.

I have Hooker long tubes. I'll take some pictures tomorrow at some point. The problem is not the spacing of the tube from the head, but that the tube itself interferes with one of the header's tubes.

Hahahaha ok sounds good. I'll tackle this in the morning. I'll post pictures when I can.

By the way, I actually re-used my Pypes offroad H pipe. Just measured and cut accordingly.
