Did anyone record it? I only saw less than half the episode and Mike and Joe will finish up the build on next week's show.

After this commercial brake we will make it look like it takes 7 minutes to install the supercharger and all the pipeing as well as injectors and new billet alluminum fuel rails from <insert company>....
What takes 10 hours, they do in 22 minutes.
It's an ok show but I don't go out of my way to watch it. I'll check my tivo and see if it was recorded as a "suggestion"....

They got 11 more horsepower after adding the Roush mufflers and tips!
In the next episode they are adding front and rear fasica to make it look like a Stage 3. Personally I would leave it alone and have a "sleeper"!
Everything they do makes it look easy. Two Guys Garage did a K. Bell supercharger in a half hour too.

What I found very interesting about the Roush kit is that it uses the stock airbox. From everything else I've read, this box is THE restriction. Now I'm beginning to wonder.....

(A) - they directly mention the project will take you the better part of a whole weekend to complete
(B) - its a TV show - I doubt they will do a 10 hour marathon epsiode just to show you exactly how long it really takes......

Thanks for the info. Then I am to presume that modifying the stock airbox is equal to (or better) than any of the other cone-style filter kits....

No it's not however it is the setup that Roush's tune is programmed for. If you put on a CAI you would need a re-tune and currently Roush (that I know of) does not have another tune available for an application like that. Steeda is one co. that has developed their own tune/CAI setup for Roush blowers which is netting around +30 or so HP. Some guys have gotten up around 380+ RWHP after the setup.
