Sorry for got to mention that. I had been up since 3:00 am... my bad! I didn't use a special tool ,since I was replacing all the lines with new ones.
Glad it worked out for you.

How do you release the fuel pressure?
Also, do most of the auto part stores carry the tool for disconnecting the fuel lines?

Thanks

Well I didn't do anything to relieve the pressure but pull the fuel line and then grab some towels from the work bench to mop up the gas. After doing some reading I see several different ways:

Pull the fuel pump fuse and run the engine till the fuel in the rails is gone.
or
I read to disconnect the battery and then plug in a cell phone charger into the power plug to drain any remaining power(???? don't see why this would work).
or
Just wrap several towels around the fuel line when you pull it off.

The tool I brought at Autozone for $9.99, it has 4 different sizes and says it for A/C lines but it works fine.

car show

I will be taking my car for my first big car show.
March 31, 2007 McCormick Place Chicago.
Going with a group from nextgenmusclecars.com
Great bunch of guys with a mix of newer Hot rods.
Not looking for trophies.. just looking for more experience and a good time.

If you are going to the show... make sure you stop bye and do a meet and greet. Thanks Intruder "Gus"
