Thumbs up

Can someone please tell me the temperature rating on the OEM thermostat? I just installed my Autometer gauges and the coolant temp. is consistently between 195 - 200 degrees F. I presume the OEM themostat is close to that temperature. Factory gauge shows to be in the middle of the normal range.

Too High???

Please explain. The temp. has never gone over 200 degrees (ususally averages about 195) and the factory gauge does not indicate an overheat condition. Could be where the Autometer sender is located. If the low fans don't come on until 214 Degrees F. I wouldn't think this is too hot. Opinions are welcome.

When I said too high...I mean that I personally would like it to run a little cooler...thats all.
My gauges match your temps.Fan on/off temps could always be changed if one had the urge, and tuner of course.
But...I personally dont like the sending unit there. I like a cleaner look, so I installed mine in the block. Just removed the plug on the left side, and installed the unit.
