Coilovers as a daily driver?
Coilovers as a daily driver?
I'm thinking of getting coilovers (Eibach's or H&R's) because of the height adjustability. Are these practical as a daily driver or are they more for racing or autocrossing?
The other option is Steeda lowering springs with Tokico D-specs. Minimal lowering with damper adjustability.
Any opinions on which to get for a mainly daily driver?

Due to not being able to find a spring with a high enough rate, I had to go to a coilover spring with adapter to use with stock type struts. Also, more than 1" front and 1.25" rear lowering moves roll centers too low (at least without other modifications) and handling response may suffer. The Steeda springs have this exact lowering amount, so they must have came to the same conclusion.
So, honestly, I never change my ride height. It's just not worth my time. What I really need is different spring rates for street and track. But spring changes take even longer. When this autocross season Is over, I'll be switching back to Steeda springs. I'm looking at having the Steeda/D-spec combo for street and a Ground Control or KW coilover set for the track.
