Lowered the rear of the DS this past weekend and cut the "hump" out with my dremel...couldn't get enough room to swing the 4lb sledge to do any damage to the hump itself.

Thread resurrection...
Read this thread a thousand times over the past couple years in hopes of some day getting a one piece Alum. DS... that say was today! O... M... G... what a fantastic increase in the butt dyno! Any one know what these gain in HP to the rear? I've got a Whippled Shelby GT and this was a noticeable increase!
Thank you so much for fantastic write up Bill. You're always the first place I look for fantastic install instructions!
Quick question though... I was a bit confused by the pinion angle section. My SGT came lowered by about 1.5". So it sounded as if I needed to change something. I didn't change anything though. I'm a bit of a dunce when it comes to rear end geometry and the such. As I said, it all sounds great, no seemingly abnormal vibrations or sounds. Should I be worried about anything there? Is there something specific I should do?
Thanks again!

Mine is lowered about the same as yours, no adjustment needed, trouble free to this day. I wouldn't sweat anything, go out and enjoy it.
