I just e-mailed them and asked for status on the ram air box for this. I was all set to order Ford Racing's CAI but it is on back order with no ETA and once I saw this So I think I'm gonna buy this with the ram air once it becomes avail.

David, that thing looks awesome. I wish that would have been out 6 months ago. Beware though if you plan to put nitrous on your car, this intake would not work. The nitrous/fuel jet needs to be between 8 to 16 inches from the front of the throttle body for fuel atomization.
Is there any reason why you could not spray right in the center of the front of the air filter? Thats a straight shot and its at least 10 in

Nitrous injectors have a 90 degree spray pattern, if you could find one that would inject through the top of the nozzle then I suppose you could make it work but who knows if it would be right. You would probably become a guinea pig for this intake and nitrous injection and the price is not cheap if the results are not favorable.

I was thinking that a standard ZEX nozzle mounted under the air filter in the front spraying right at the TB would work well but it would have to get a straight shot to be effective....

Just waiting on the "cold air" solution before I buy.

UPDATE . . . .

Just got an e-mail back from Shannon at WMS . . . . . .

"Yes the intake system is shipping now. The ram air box is in production now and should be available in a couple weeks. No price set yet, should have that figured out in a week or so".

GROUP BUY!!! I asked Shannon if WMS would consider a group buy for TMS members and she said we would need 5 minimum. I'm one, do we have at least 4 more?

We may be able to do a group buy on the intake systems if enough people
on TMS are interested. Would need 5 or more to do some sort of deal.
Certainly can pre order one, we have several names already - we will
just call you (or email) when they are ready to send out

Ive been looking at this one for a few weeks now. I emailed them about using a Jet TB Spacer and they answered no prob it has room to slide forward for it.
This might also be something for you NO2 guys.. a longer tube in front of the billet tube might give enough room for the squirter.

If you can find out a price for 5 Im probably interested.. they show 369 on their site.

I would probably be interested, however I want to hear about some people running them before I purchase one.

I would probably have had one of these intstalled already, but I'm eventually going to spray. I don't believe there is enough room for the "squirter" with this intake. I've been talking with Namala about their intake since just before this thread about this intake. I like the concept and really like the Ram idea. Alot of people don't think it'll get much cool air, but if you've had your car over 80mph or had a tractor-trailer go by you, you'll see the hood dance. That will atleast tell you there is air getting under there.

I think you could put me down as a maybe... I would like to see the ram air box finished and priced first. Also, 169stang has me thinking about the possibility of not being able to spray with this intake. It's something I won't do for a long time (other mods I want to do first), but I would still like the option if I choose to spray earlier.

LETS TRY THIS AGAIN!

Was also wonder about squeezing a spacer in there, looks like the filter comes right to the radiator. Glad to hear there's room. Didn't realize there was other interest in theis CAI or I would have waited. Ordered mine last week, should have it Monday. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
Will prob order the spacer Mon if everything looks good.
Saw Jet spacer for $93 on autoanything.com, anyone seen it cheaper?

Even though it's not required . . . has anyone heard any rumblings about a tune for these?
