Hi there

Got myself some Steeda Charge Motion plates and am gonna fit myself.

Is this something that can be easily undertaken by someone who has just done basic things on cars or is it a more involving job?

Is there anything that can drastically go wrong and are there any good tips and advice to give me before I start?

P.S. Are any special tools required or can hand tools be used?

 

If you add the CMP plates , you need a tune or else you're gonna have big problems ...

 

As long as you have the tune to go along with the CMP plates it's a very easy swap, just take you time and get the gaskets in all the way.

 

What are Charged Motion Plates?

 

Gaskets? Are these on the stock ones already in the car?

 

yes, take your time removing them from the old intake and you won't have any trouble.

 

In short they are a set of butterflies under your intake to control intake velocity.
