I've been trying for nearly an hour to get the radiator hose to attach to the bottom of the coolant resivoir. I've got a small set of Vice-Grips on the clamp, a dab of WD40 on the resivoir tip, and have been twisting and pushing w/ all my might. So, other that eating my spinich, does anyone have a tip?

:worship:

(sorry to start an entire thread on this, but someone please help and I'm sure the thread will die quickly)

Put some spit on the inside of the pipe, its tight, but should slide on.Lube it up, it wont hurt anything Mine was very snug as well, thats a good quality hose they supply with the kit.

Just tried that. Still no luck. Any other ideas? Am I possibly doing something wrong? Do I have the wrong clamp? I think I'm using the same one that was by the coolant bottle in it's OEM location... if I accidentally switched them, are they different sizes?

The clamp is super tight, I remember that, slide that sucker down out of the way, and try to get the hose on. Dont try to slide the hose on with the clamp on the end, ease the tension...move it down.

If all else fails...a light dab of vaseline might help.

If not, hit the weights... lol

I just looked @ mine, I replaced that one with a worm clamp. I must have ditched it for that same reason. I should have remembered that.

That's what I needed to hear, I've proceeded w/ the rest of the install thinking the same thing. Tomorrow, off to lowes to by a screw type clamp. So, a tip for anyone else about to install the WMS... have an extra screw type clamp around in case you run into the same problem.
