CALLING ALL EXHAUST/PIPE/HEADER OWNERS
#21
Has anybody heard or even considered the new Hooker headers system? I'm kind of new to the car world, but I work on Harley's so loud isn't problem, and Hooker is a brand I'm familiar with. They also claim to have gotten rid of the drone problem some people have talked about with axle back mufflers. So it is the direction I'm leaning toward when I get the cash.

Okay, stupid question:
Where can I find MAC and ProChamber exhaust components? Do these companies have a website? Didn't see them on the Alpha Listing.

dhof, there are clips on the JBA website that sound so awesome I want to jump on them right now... like THESE:
http://www.jbaheaders.com/video/steeda_qtr1.MPG
http://www.jbaheaders.com/video/steeda_qtr2.MPG
The thing is, though, that sound isn't EXACTLY what I want... and after I heard THIS clip, I was pretty much disgusted with this set-up..It sounds like the mufflers are gonna fall off at Idle after revving it a bit...

What causes that sound, the Off Road legs on the pipes or the Long Tube headers?

As far was what gives it that sound, its the LT's that separate the exhaust pulses untill they hit the collector, and the off road h-pipe is what gives it the mean "rasp".
