If the car is dirty, wash it. The duster is to be used on cars that are just dusty. Used properly, it will not scratch the paint.

I used to use one of these back in Phoenix for my car photoshoots, it works very well for getting dust off the car! With one very major exception, if there is moisture on the car forget about it. It'll just smear all over the place. I started using one for my shoots here in LA by the coast, but the air is just to moist to use once the sun starts setting.

The Ca. Car Duster is a great product I own 4 of them. By using it and detail spray I have only washed our Mustang 1 Time in a year and a half. Granted it is not a daily driver and is garage kept but i would not be without one.

It should NOT be used with any type of heavy dirt on the car it is only for use for DUSTING!

Thread can be moved my a mod if they want. I wasn't thinking about the location when I posted it.

BTW, I picked mine up at Walmart last night for $9.96.
