Quote from Mrs Hog: "Let me get this straight . . . you dump two perfectly good mufflers and pay over $500 for new ones just so you can wake up the neighbors when you go to work in the morning?"

OK, I could not resist. I purchased the SS Axle back Bassani from Ninosport (excellent service). Just like everyone said, the sound is incredible. It is hard to believe the engine is only 281 CID. It sounds like a much larger displacement engine.

Now all I need is my fuzzy dice . . . . . . .

Congrats!! How much did they end up running you? I don't know if I can justify $500 for them or not..... I might see what Flowmaster comes up with.

Ninosport (TMS advertiser) listed them for 559.95 but you can get a good discount if you tell him you saw it on TMS. Shipping was free and no sales tax. They were very easy to install and only needed a small amount of adjusting to get them right.
Sorry, I have to go now. The grievance committee from the Home Owners Association is at the front door.

I don't blame her at all. If I want sound I can buy a heck of a lot of CDs at that price.

I just have one question Boss.....does she get upset when you refer to her as "Mrs. Hog"?

heck, she should be glad she gets referred to at all. Good choice on the Bassani, I'm thinking about throwing the axlebacks on mine this summer. Love that sound.

I love loud stuff! Prior to this mustang my 02 GT had no cats, a MAC Prochamber with Produmps. It would set off the car alarm of the neighbor accross the street and down a couple of houses, bad for them because my wife and I leave for work about 10 minutes after 6am. My 66 Coupe has a 351W with headers/3" pipes and 2 chamber Flowmasters. My 2000 Super Duty diesel has 4" downpipe and a Borla 4" muffler and turnout just behind the cab. 92 Harley Sportster--striaght pipes! Needless to say, our neighbors hear us night and day, noone has complained, at least not to us or the police.
