As you all know, and probably hate me for it , ive been BUGGING people left and right about exhausts. Heck, some people are taking time off to just make me clips of my car, and I am eternally grateful to them.

Out of these three setups:

Borla Catback

Straight Pipes from a shop

SLP Loudmouths and Prochamber (stock cats)

Which is louder, deeper, and mainly, THROATIER? Ive heard Borla's only from the videos on TMS...SLP Loudmouths + PChambers are also cool, and the videos I got from Rakkassan SEEM to portray it as a VERY throaty, gurgly setup (wind in the video keeps me from being 100% sure). And Striaght pipes, I will hear soon.

What do you guys think? Which is more of a head turner? Throatier? Loud/Deeper?

Any clips people are HIDING?

PRE thanks to all

I really dig the slp loud mouths. They are inexpensive and IMO have the best looking tips of any after market. They install in 20-30 minutes (with decent tools) and best of all sound incredible. They ARE loud and some might say a bit obnoxious but on the freeway you wont notice them. If your putting load on the car and it gets to around 2200rpm there is moderate drone but it's in a short rpm range. I only notice it when gunning it up hill.

If you like the sound of the SLP's but want to do it cheaper you can buy the tips you like and get some pipe bent a lil cheaper at a muffler shop.

i agree SLP's all the way. i honestly cant say i have any drone at all but after listining to my v8 94 tbird with flowmaster 40's i prolly wouldnt hear it anyway. that car droned like heck till i hit at least 75mph. Anyway it took me 20 min to get the stock mufflers out and 10 minutes to get the slps on. all i can say is wow i love the sound

I'm emailing someone a good clip of my system starting and reving. He's going to post it under the exhaust section with the sticky.

You really should hear all your choices in person to make an informed decision

Vids don't quite get you there...

You may love borla's in vids and straight pipes..but in actuallity...you may not in person...or think you made a wrong decision...know what I'm sayin ?

I guess I'm the one who's supposed to post. I received an email from an Eric with a file and I'm like . Searching around I found this thread, and an Eric.

Here is the link to the vid: SLP and ProChamber It's a big one, 9 MB.

I'll also post in the Exhaust sticky.
