The BMR brackets definitely reduced my 60' time a little!

Same here. I just ordered a Metco Adjustable UCA - will see if it helps any.
I still haven't checked the bushings in my LCAs yet...
And yes, I'd ditch the weights. Mine whines with or without them.
As does mine...they're currently off
