BMR Adjustable Panhard Rod installation question
You'll be exactly as far off as the stocker was. That said, when I did my BMR, that's exactly how I did it. I installed adjustable lowers, upper and panhard all at one shot, so I started by matching lengths, installing and then adjusting from there. The panhard is so easy to adjust that you can twist the adjuster by hand when the car's on the ground, so no big deal. If you're ****-retentive like me, do the adjustment when you have 1/2 tank of fuel, and load the driver's seat with weight to simulate your weight. That will get you as close as you can practicably come to perfection.
I plan on doing the BMR LCA's,UCa's, panhard, etc. all at the same time I lower my car. I like BMR products and plan on using their front strut brace as well. I haven't chosen my lowering kit yet though.
BMR SP009 springs installed here... I think they look good, AND they perform well...
I tend to like a firmer ride, but with the D-Specs dialled down to around 5 turns out, the ride is quite compliant, perhaps even a touch softer than stock. They are a variable-rate design, so they tend to be softer under lighter load, but get down on them, and they tighten up nicely. If you can find somebody with them to take a ride with I would strongly recommend giving them a chance. They are NOT uber-stiff track springs.
