I have been down the road you are getting ready to turn on to. For me, nothing beats a twinswrew SC'er on a 4.6 stang. It will give you the grunt that these motors don't have because of their lack of displacement. Even though I blew up a 96 Cobra on a 10 lb. Kennebell unit it was only because I.......... was greedy for horsepower. It ran great for 2 yrs at 6 lbs. of boost and only lasted 2 weeks at 10. I won't go into the piston and rod problem with these motors.
Bottomline, I don't think you can go wrong with either the KB, Saleen, Wipple or the Roush unit. Obviously the Roush unit comes with a full warranty. Must be part of your consideration!!!! Your car looks awesome and now it needs to run awesome. If you are ready to buy today I would go KENNEBELL. Just my opinion!!!!!!

I am using the Saleen Series VI twin screw supercharger with great success! I have the 435hp Saleen tune and that is about 395hp at the rear wheels. This kit in my opinion gives you the best factory look under hood apperance and what most people don't tell you is that it has the best design when it comes time to work on the blower. You don't have to pull everything back out to maintain it. It has 2.4 Liters of displacement so it is turning really slow at 5psi and should last a long time. I plan on keeping my car a long time and when it comes time for an engine rebuild I will put in forged components and then up the boost.

saleen
I am also running a saleen blower. I went with it for fit and finish. I love the way it looks under the hood, the way it pulls, the slight whine under boost, yadda yadda yadda. I have put over 2000 miles on it and am very, very happy. Bottom line, go with the one you like the best or you may second guess yourself after its all said and done.![Thumb](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
I have a super conservative tune and am putting down 425 at the wheels.

OK, not to sound like a broken record or anything, but 415hp isn't putting the rods in danger if it is tuned right. It's all about the tune, period.
I have been putting down well over 450 to the wheels for 8k miles without a single issue. And I beat on my car like a redneck beats his wife after spending the monthly welfare check at Walmart on Milwalkee's Best.

I have chosen the nitrous route in my quest to 400-425rwhp. I will be putting my car in the shop next week. I'm going with the NX plate kit. Still wondering what kind of gauges I'm going to get. For those that have ordered the SOS pod, how long did it take to get it?
