GRAYTPONY: do you have a chin spoiler on? That's the only reason I don't lower my now. That chin spoiler of mine aleady scapes most exits.
I also would want less drop in front like afew of you. I'll have to see how this thread pans out.

Here's my '06 Vert, it has the Roush springs with stock shocks & struts as well as a chin spoiler...

I like the drop and haven't had any problems with anything rattling...

And here are some more pics from 2008 if you wanted to see a few other angles:

Yeah that is something else I need to consider. I am running a Roush facsia and chin spoiler and have scraped the chin spoiler a couple of times. I think that might put the Vogtland springs as the front runner since they only have .8 inch drop in the front.

The offical Vogtland site says 1.2" all around. So, where is the .8" in front info coming from? Price $229 free shipping

Ford Racing K springs on rear, nearly identical to the Eibach Pro springs. I am mildly happy with them. They are very low and my rear hits the bump stops. New shorter bumps stops might be in order.

Okay guys. First off thanks for all the help and suggestions. I had a very interesting time the past hour. I used everyones suggestions and my own deductive reasoning and decided to purchase the Vogtland springs from Sam Strano. So I placed the order online. Earlier in this thread I hoped that Sam would visit my thread and give his opinion and advise for the best spring to fit what I am looking for. He is a very busy guy and hasn't had time to visit TMS. So when I placed my order for the Vogtland springs I sent a message that I wasn't in any hurry to get these springs and before he shipped these springs to me to review what I am trying to achieve. Well maybe 5 minutes after hitting the send button the phone rings...guess who? Sam Strano himself. He reviewed my order and what I was trying to achieve and pointed out that the Vogtland springs that fit the Verts also fit the GT500. He pointed out that the front Vogtland springs have a 40lb heavier spring rate than for a stock GT. That's why there is different amounts of front lowering. .8 inches for standard GT's and 1.2 inches for the GT500's because of their heavier nose weight. He didn't feel that was what I was looking for. So he suggested the Steeda Sport Springs and said they would compliment the Koni shocks I purchased better. Who am I to disagree?? So while I never considered the Steeda Sports that is what is on order with Sam. They also have a minimum amount of drop like the Roush and Vogtland. I want to thank Sam for taking the time to call me and give his opinion. Thanks Sam. Looking forward to some better handling!!
Scott

Did you only do the rears to level the car out?

Yep, that's what I liked, probably not your thing since you want to maintain the rake.

Well don't get me wrong. That stance (level) looks very good. But I do like the rake look better but I guess that because that is what I grew up seeing. But to gain the most handling benefit from new springs I would believe I need to change all 4 of them.

Sam must have bought a boat load of those Steeda Sport springs. He has been recommending them to everyone. I wonder what he didn't like about the Vogtland?
