Its just not premium gas.its a combination of EVERYTHING.If I used that logic on every monthly bill I have, I'd be in trouble. Paycheck to paycheck aint fun ,let me tell you. :nono:

You missing my point, your spending money on mods to only limit them because of $3 a week.
I understand your mentality of knowing when to say when, but don't spend hundreds of dollars on mods and then say you can't afford the gas.

With a tuner you could just switch back to an 87 tune if the price of gas jumps due to a hurricane or whatever. Also, with a tuner you should actually get better gas mileage. That should offset the dif between 87 and 93 oct.

Just wondering, is there a way with the XCalibrator 2 or another way to beable to flip between two custom tunes? Like, a tune for power, and a tune for efficiency/cruising? I mean, with out having to plug the thing in or whatever.

No, you'd have to plug it in and reflash... but that takes all of about 1 minute or so.

Just got back from the Dyno. I wanted to see what this new tune did for the car and make sure the A/F was okay. The car runs great, better than it did before. It didn't gain or lose any HP but i found it was running a bit rich.(12.4) I think if I can get it back to 12.9-13.0 then it will gain some.
Does anyone know if this can be adjusted on the Xcal II or do I have to do this from a tuner?

Along the reflash topic, with XCal2 can you reflash directly from one custom tune to another (i.e. from custom 89 to 93 octane) or do you have to "return to stock" first as an intermediate step before the 93 tune is loaded? Just wondering. Thanks.

No need to go back to stock....you can just reflash to the other custom tune.

+1 to that. I do it all the time. I have a street tune and a track tune, and I flip flop a couple times a week.
