Is it possible to buy just the tune? I already have the C&L cai, and the SCT X2. Do you think Lidio would email the tune and I could download it into my X2? just curious

If you call him I'm sure you can work something out

Okay all you auto guys!! I have in the last 30 minutes went from the Diablo /C&L 93 octane tune to Lidio's/C&L 93 octane tune for automatics and the difference is nothing less than amazing. Lidio's tune is everything that you have read from others in this thread. I know the car is not making anymore horsepower with this tune but it seems like it is because of the way the transmission is now acting. It surely does light the tires in 1st and 2nd gears. Not sure about 3rd yet because it's dark and i am freaking out. And it true!! I have got a throttle cable again. I thought the Dialbo tune helped the throttle lag a bunch but nothing like this. It is just like having a cable again!!
And here is a side bonus as far as I am concerned. Because now my transmission does not shift into OD until 67 MPH. The dreaded muffler drone from my Borla's at 55 mph is GONE!! This is because the rpm of the engine is a little higher because it is not in OD at 30 MPH. Hey Mongoose!!! Don't wait for the Diablo guys to catch up. Sell the Predator to a manual guy and GET THIS TUNE!! I truely believe it will fix alot of the issues you are unhappy with about your car.
LIDIO YOU ARE THE MAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow... what a difference.... better throttle response.... MUCH better auto transmission mangagement... wow...
i was a little nervous that it wouldn't do as much as i had been reading/hoping and it didn't disappoint at all...

COME ON PEOPLE!! Call Lidio. We all can't be crazy. I'm still smiling from my install on Wednesday!!

Got mine and installed this morning. 5 min later . . CEL . . . came on.
Tried again, still . . . CEL . . .
Oh well, the wife didn't care for the "Stronger Transmission" response anyway, so I'm back to the Predator.
Anybody want to buy my SCT Xcal2 with Lidio's tune?
Tom

Hi Wardog,
Just curious if you used the SCT/X2 unit to clear the 1st CEL before you reinstalled Lidio's tune? Also did you return the stock program before reinstalling the 2nd time?
Scott

Yes, I return to stock with the Predator before loading the Xcal.
Once I returned to stock with the Xcal, the CEL went away. Loaded it again, 5 min later another CEL.
Thanks for the troubleshooting help, but the wife drives it 6 days a week and she's the one that needs to be kept happy and she didn't care for the new throttle response the Xcal provided.
Since I'm back to the Predator, I wonder if Lidio can provide a SCT Xcal2 tune for my 2005 F-150 . . hmmm . . . I'll have to call him next week.

Man. I still can't believe this tune..... I took my neighbor's kid for a ride tonight. I decided to have some fun. I was really surprised at the power now. I basically floored it from a dead stop. The car spun almost all the way thru 1st gear.......barked 2nd and took off! I really need the 4.10's

I have to ask...
You said you spun through most of first and a good bark going into second and then you want to go to 4:10..
Would not lowering the gear just make your car lose more traction ( wheel spin ) and actually slow down your acceleration?
Not slamming, just curious....

That was my first time at the track too, so maybe it could do better with a more experienced driver.

My automatic ran 13.73 @ 103 with C&L + Lidio tune + Flowmaster axle-back. Rest totally stock including wheels/tires.

Yeah you could do better. The hardest is to take off with the automatic.
Still thinking i could do better myself. run out of time before the winter came to do more run.
Hope to hit the 12.XX in 5 month.

Just wondering...Since I have 20" wheels/tires....would I get similar results? Like if I were to floor it...would i get some wheel spin/chirps on 1-2 shifts?

I currently have a DTP automatic tune (XCalibrator 1) with my JLT CAI. The tune ain't bad but it still has not eliminated throttle/gear lag or whatever it is. I'm sure you automatic owners know what I mean. I can still get up to a 2 second delay when flooring the throttle pedal and when the car actually starts hauling. Seems to be a bug in the car's computer throttle/gear switching program.
