I might have stumbled onto some cash to throw at a pair of these.....

I have a spare set of 17 inch bullitts I would throw these on.....

I have heard GREAT things about these tires (compared to the Nitto and BF G drag radials). For those who have them, how do you like them? Also, what is the overall diameter of the tire when mounted? I was reading on a few other sites where some people said the tire is actually an inch higher than the specs list it as. With my fronts (on the 18s) in the 26-plus area, I want to avoid the rear dropping too much if the diameter is that much smaller.........

Thanks!

(was looking at ordering from Jegs...)

Well, it sounds like you are planning on using these wheels and tires for strip use only, a good idea. I had the same idea myself, just waiting for the money to come in. I was thinking that on the strip it would actually be a good thing that the car is angled back...better weight transfer. But I don't mind looking a little goofy for that extra tenth.

I'm running MT 275/40-17's at the track. I really like them. I have been running them at about 17-18 psi. I just measured mine, and they are just under 26" dia... and a tad shorter when on the car.

I have not dropped my car, so they look quite short on it. But then again, when I'm at the track, all I car about is traction, not looks.

mikem used the same setup all year and they fit well on his bullit wheels. I ran them on my car and they were great.

I plan on doing the same in the spring. Ditto on Jegs, free shipping. These tires were on nationwide backorder for a while, I wonder if they still are.

I got mine in late October... after the national backorder.
