So tempted....I wish someone local had them on their car, that way I could figure out if I could stand them on the highway.

Trust me...you can. Its so easy to control droning...Honestly. Either shift up, down, or keep the speed a little under/over what the droning area is. I actually can ignore the droning since I love driving so much.

You REALLY won't regret getting these!

???? Even my Loudmouths are quiet while just cruising down the highway. Can't imagine something that actually has a muffler being a problem.

My 99 silverado I bought used had flowmasters with sidedumps. It droned horribly at highway speed.

If someone could get a soundclip of the borlas or FRPP versions at 70mph on the interior, I'd paypal you a nickel.

Well, droning isn't a result of being loud. My dad has dual magnaflows on his escalade. I wouldn't call them too loud, but the droning is SO bad on them.

But anyway, if don and I are telling you that there won't be droning problems, then rest assured.....there WON'T be droning problems.

I guess the reason I never hear drone from the LMs is that I don't cruise at 2000rpm anytime. With 4.10s, anything above 60mph is above "drone range".

Solution to highway drone??? 4.10s baby!!

I am starting to like the idea of getting 4.10s on my car.

Obviously for Christmas of 2006, though.

Thanks for the vid, Chris. Now I know what my car sounds like! And It's nice to see that your camera was still there when you came back. Mine would have likely walked.

Like Don said, the Borlas are at there quietest on the highway above 60. They are at there loudest lugging from 50 to 60 in 5th gear with the 4.10's. I know they aren't LM's, but I wouldn't consider the Borla to be an actual muffler either.

Sure, hope you enjoyed the video...Yea a lot of people have been commenting on my camera being left on the sidewalk like that. Well, I'm in a residential area where everyone knows everyone, and not a lot of people walk around...

Oh yea, the borlas shouldnt be considered "mufflers." The actual muffs are so small its almost funny. But I really love em.

Great video...I'm sooo close to talking the wife into these. Any chance you could do a video inside the car while driving. This might explain some of the droning concern to folks.

Thanks for the efforts...car sounds awsome!

Guys thanks for all the kind comments. I shall be going to my local electronics shop and hopefully getting a firewire or iLink connection for my camcorder. Then, I'll be able to film a HUGE amount of videos, inside, outside, half inside, half outside, and edit em for y'all. It will be true, uncompressed sound, too!

Glad to see some more people want to join the Borla gang!

EDIT: and YES, I did shift my auto manually. I love doing that
