Same as Boss Hog, but I did play with mine a little and managed to get the engine check light to come on! Reset the standard tune and it went off.

Decided to try the Factory HP Tune with the C&L. Sounded and felt great, but the light went on. It was meant for bone stock.

I want to bump this back up. I have had 2 different tunes (SCT) to go along with my CAI and each time after 5 days or so the check engine light comes on. It drives fine and doesn't go into limp mode. If I reflash the tune, the light goes off. The first tune I got was custom and done on a dyno to check the A/F so I know it is not running lean. The second tune came with the CAI.

I am going to get it checked at the dealership Friday but I was hoping someone else may have this so I know what to expect.

Thanks for the tip Bryan. I just went out and checked and I do have the gasket installed so it must be something else.

I hope it is just the gas cap or something but it didn't start until after the CAI install.

Myabe you bumped somethings OR there is a TSB for coil packs from using WOT (main cause). May need to look in that direction too.

You could try resetting the battery too. I unplugged mine for 5 minutes after installing th MMR intake and that did the trick.

Thanks for the info. I think I will just have the dealership pull the code tomorrow and have them yell at me for putting mods on my car. :notnice:

If it is not something important I will try the battery disconnect trick.

I don't know the codes, dealership will get them tomorrow.

On the custom tune the A/F was a little rich, somewhere in the 12s. I don't have an A/F on the JLT tune but it is kicking off the same light as the first tune.

Yes, got JLT and 4.10 gears same day, light came on. Custom SCT tune the next day, light was off after the tune but came on next time restarted engine. Reflashed SCT tune and light went off, but came back on after couple of driving cycles. Repeated x1. Car is running fine. Talked to person who did tune. He said he needs to see code that is turning light on. Will get with SCT and find when can datalog the 05's. He feels possibly something is disconnected or there is air leak after the MAF and its registering unmetered air. I'm waiting to hear from him.

Yeah this stinks...I installed a JLT tongiht as well and the light came on. I reflashed it then after a couple drive cycles it came back on again. I checked the MMR gasket as Brain suggested (it's ok). Man I'm at a loss here. Gonna frickin bum me out if I can't get it resolved. Hopefully, Jay's new tune for the Predator will be coming out and resolve my problem.
