Can I benefit from using 93 octane without a tune (ref. the 5.0 and fast fords article that detaile hp gains with 91 octane in stock GT form)? Will I need a tune or can the sensors adjust for this and adjust timing appropriately?

91 octane is not available locally.

93 would work fine, it was when they went to 104 that they showed anomalies.

So, without a tune, I MAY gain 3 RWHP, but I definitely will lose $0.20 per gallon.... heheh.

I think I'll wait until I get a tune before I start using premium.
