Frankly, I would be VERY surprised if you feel a 2-4 hp increase. Heck, changes in ambient conditions can make more a difference than that. I would expect you to be able to see a slight increase in fuel economy though.

What proof do you have that it is better? Independent test of lab results. I would like to see it please.

I believe there have been quite a few tests placing Amsoil as the best for engine use. Some tired engines have been noted to see an improvement in dyno numbers but like I posted before I dont think it would do anything for this 4.6.

Is this all the proof you have? Pretty weak if you ask me.

Dude, calm down. This is a forum, not a criminal investigation.

Really, I doubt I could ever tell the difference between Amsoil and probably any other full synthetic while driving back to work, but I've read a Motorcycle Consumer News test result one time that had Mobil 1 and Amsoil as the best oils out of the test. And no, I don't have copies of the article or remember the year/month. But I know Mobil 1 and Amsoil did well in their elaborate three issue test, so I'll stick with themf. If for piece of mind, and nothing else.

Cant say for sure but Amsoil is the best synthetic in the world. I use it and also have a reseller's account for better pricing.

Just trying to make an informed decision as to what to use. I didn't mean to come across as being excited. I work in enginerring and to me everything is BS until tested. I have done a search on Amsoil and Mobile 1 trying to find an independent comparison but at every web sight I found they were also Amsoil dealers. To me that shows bias. So all I wanted from the people that are saying Amsoil is better than anything else is to prove it. Post a link to a sight with test results.

Mobile 1 is not going to post up tests where they got beat by Amsoil. Many of the tests posted on the Amsoil websites are tests from independent sources. I've done a search and can't find any tests where Mobil 1 beat Amsoil, but you can find dozens where Amsoil beat Mobil 1, even it is linked to an Amsoil dealer. Like said, Mobil 1 would be sueing Amsoil for false advertising if these dozens of websites and independent lab results where false.
