I have found that FRPP has a set of chrome ones for 375.00 (kind of pricey), blue and black color is only 250.00. Anyway, has anyone changed theirs out yet? How difficult or should I say PITA is it? compair it to other mods you have done: pulleys, or LCA's or springs. Did you have to change the gasket? Info would help me either do it or wait till the visa is down to a manageable amount..

I was also told that Steeda has a set in the works the end of this month?

I bought the black ones but could not help you with the install since they are still at the engine builder. You do not need new gaskets though. Steeda does have some coming out as well-they showed me the prototype last time I was there but they will be $$$ too.

I'm getting mine powder-coated to a reflective chrome for like $110, way better than buying brand new covers for $$$$.

Find a powder-coater near you and see how much they will charge you...

I had mine powdercoated while the motor is out, too. They cost $100 locally.

I bought the silver FRPP ones and sent them back because they were wrinkle finish instead of smooth. The literature didn't state which they were and truthfully they looked like 'primer wrinkle'. I bought an extra set and smoothed out the casting flaws and I'm in the process of having them powder coated a silver metallic color (going for that factory Ford 4V silver on the Cobras). I'll post some pics when they're done.

Those look nice Don.
