? for anyone with 4.10 gears..
Since a 295/45/18 is taller (this obviously wouldn't apply to a 295/40/18), they knock the 4.10's "down" to an effective 3.90 or so. Going with a 4.30 would result in an effective 4.10
I meant that I'd eventually like to run 295's in the rear, but keep the overall diameter the same as my 235/50ZR18.
Hopefully more companies will make a 295/40 with a decent TWR. Burke0011 ran the Falken's with a TWR of 200 and they lasted less than a year. My Nitto's have a TWR of 300 and are still going strong with over 20K on them.
My stock BFG 235/50/18's have a TWR of 400...and I'm stock other than for a C&L CAI+Doug's 93Race tune...and when I just rotated at 5700 miles, the rears had at least 2 mm less tread left then the fonts...I feel confident I can get 15k outta them, but I think 20k will be pushing it...they feel way more sticky that a TWR of 400 would indicate...

If you plan on getting blown go with 3.73's.
4.10's with a power adder usually means running out of gear at the end of the 1/4. I know it did with the SOHC SN-95's.

Well, it really depends on tire size, too. If you're running 26" tires, then you can run up to 118mph at about 6250rpm. But, if you're running 28" tires, you can run up to 127mph at about 6250rpm.
