Anybody have this problem

I have a 2006 GT, 5-speed. Mods are: JLT CAI, Mufflers, SCT Bamachips tune.

When I'm coasting my car will have inconsistant RPM's, between 500-100, but when I'm at a dead stop it idle's fine...and driving is normal, just when I'm coasting. Anybody else have this going on, or know what it is?

Thanks!

i had an issue where my RPM would drop below 400, and eventually stall the engine while slowing down to a stop, or even while doing 100++mph and pressing down the clutch (if i let the RPM drop.. it drops all the way to 0)
but i also had rough idling, where it would surge between 400 and 700 continuously.

months later, it turned out to be a faulty throttle body.
she's running smooth now

I have the exact same set-up... nothing like that here . Call Doug, if it's a tune issue he'll fix it

Yup, X-cal 2 and mine does it too. There've been quite a few threads on this recently, so you're not alone. Mine will sometimes stall completely out as well. :bang: Does anyone know how to post a video? I've got it on videotape and would like to send it to Brenspeed/BamaChips, but an to much of a noob to figure out how to post a video clip.

Do you know if the car behaved this way before the tune?

I have not had any problems with my set up either on start up, driving or coasting.

Mine did the exact same thing awhile ago. I did a 0-100 pull on it, then I was just driving and it would stall out and die. And I had to keep on giving it gas or it would die...I took the intake and tuner off and it didn't do it anymore...The dealership ended up replacing the fuel pump...but it doesn't do it without the intake...only with it on. I'm just worried about if I take it for a long drive that is gunna start stalling out on me
