Has anyone had problems with the Kenny Bell Boost-A-Pump? The shop that installed my Saleen 4psi blower sez to stay away from them 'cause they burn up fuel pumps. I could see a problem if you set it too high, but I would have no reason to push it that hard. Any help would be appreciated.

I know a lot of people are using the BAP, and I haven't read of any issues like that. But, if you're just running at 4psi, do you need it? Which injectors are you using?

I shouldn't need it, not with 4psi & stock injectors. Doug at BAMACHIPS tipped me off that some installations are going lean unrelated to the amount of boost or injector size. While datalogging the fuel pump & pressure drop accross the injectors, he's seen pressures drop to the point where adding fuel to the tune has no effect.

One mystery is that we are seeing A/F in the 11s (good, yours & others), and A/F in the 13s (bad, mine, vegasJs and others), but we are not seeing any 12s.

I'll get her back to the dyno to check fuel pressures next week. Meanwhile, I'm just trying to line up options.

Thanks
